Beyond the brief

When I'm not writing them I’m collecting stories. The kind you find in books, films, plays, podcasts – or on quiet park benches, over coffee with strangers, or while wandering through a new city.

Travel inspires me – whether it’s the buzz of London, the charm of the English countryside or a dusty village road somewhere unexpected. I have a soft spot for old British style, from Miss Marple mysteries to cream teas and well-worn tweed.

I also love getting creative in the kitchen – experimenting with new recipes or revisiting old favourites. Every spring, our balcony turns into a tiny jungle of herbs, vegetables and flowers.

And when it’s time to reset, I roll out the yoga mat, hop on my bike or head into nature for a walk and a bit of headspace.

Because in the end, good work – just like a good story – needs room to grow.
