Visa Ideenaktion

The COVID-19 pandemic hit us hard–in particular small and medium-sized businesses.  During lockdown, retailers, service providers and restaurateurs had to close down and suffer massive losses in sales. For many store owners it has been an existential challenge. 

Task

Visa made it its business to support local businesses: #supportlocal. Right at the beginning of the pandemic with a voucher campaign, which provided immediate monetary added value – and in 2021 with the first Visa campaign that wasn't a product campaign for Visa: the Visa Idea Campaign to help small businesses go big. Visa supported 50 local merchants, who developed clever new ideas for their businesses to survive in difficult times, with their own social media campaign.

Result

Also due to prominent placements – e.g. on bild.de, faz.net and zeit.de – we were able to generate a total of 120 million impressions and over 285,000 clicks. The merchants were thrilled that the 50 social media campaigns a real success, generating over 19 million impressions and over 22,000 clicks to the merchants' websites.

So was the MAX Award jury: The Visa Ideenaktion was awarded gold and silver in 2021.

Jimdo Feature Spotlight Videos

Jimdo's products and features are not only easy to use, each of them fit a "job to be done" for the customers and have a clear benefit.

Task
To highlight both together with our partners from The Brigade we developed a series of videos for different channels such as organic and paid social, YouTube and more. The goal of this project: to continue to build out the branding and vision of Jimdo.

Result
We created three video tutorials for (potential) customers that are both easy to follow and fun to watch–always with the job to be done in focus:

Episode#1: Create your own brand, features Logo Creator, Color Palette, Image Editor. 

Episode#2: Get found online, features Automatic SEO, Business Listings, Social Media Integration.

Episode#3: Optimize your website, features Domains, SmartApps and Statistics.

Times change, and so do brands: In 2021 it was time for Visa to realign. And teams all over the world aligned to make it happen–so did we at Digitas Pixelpark. For Visa, a network working for everyone.


Task

To make a brand revolution comprehensible and tangible for everyone: with a new brand film, multiple assets across all channels and a brand activation campaign.


Concept

Visa is more than a credit card. In a world evolving from analog to digital, Visa offers a network to help shape the future of commerce and economic exchange.

Brand Relaunch, AI-Driven Content & More 

Euro-FH - University of Applied Sciences 

Euro-FH is Germany’s most well-known private distance-learning university. Following a brand relaunch, the university now presents itself with a fresher, smarter, and more personal tone—aligned with both its brand identity and target audience. 

With the support of their in-house chatbot, I adapted, optimized, and in some cases re-conceptualized copy across the website, study guides, brochures, and other digital and print materials. The work focused on aligning tone of voice, performance goals, and strategic direction across all channels.

Stadtwerke Osnabrück

 

"Enhancing quality of life" – that’s the mission of Stadtwerke Osnabrück, a regional utility provider with a strong focus on sustainability and community. I’ve partnered with their marketing team as a freelance copywriter, shaping campaigns, CRM communications, and local initiatives. 


The collaboration centered on translating complex brand values into clear, consistent messaging across channels—always with the end customer in mind.

Jimdo "Durchstart"-Initiative


The solopreneurs and small businesses of this world give their best every day, and put their energy, heart and soul into their businesses. We thought: Time to give something back! That's why we created an "Ode to small businesses"and the Jimdo "Durchstart"-Initiative to support small businesses.

Concept

With the "Durchstart"-Initiative we gave away 5 x €10,000 "Durchstart-Bonus", plus a Jimdo Premium plan for their website or online store and a professional business coaching. Business owners could apply with their Jimdo website, and a jury of successful entrepreneurs selected the five happy winners based on criteria such as creativity, uniqueness, sustainability and more. For the campaign we developed a spot for YouTube, TV and social media plus different landing pages and ads.

Result
The campaign ran for several months and generated thousands of clicks, inspiring applications and an increased awareness of the struggles of small business owners.

On top we got a platinum award from the dot.com award 2022 in the category of Digital Marketing & Communication Campaigns | Brand Awareness Campaigns. Kudos to our great creative collaborators Los York and thinkers from thjnk.

Städtisches Klinikum Braunschweig

 

The Städtisches Klinikum Braunschweig (skbs) is a cutting-edge maximum-care hospital and one of the region’s largest employers. Like many healthcare providers, it’s feeling the effects of the skilled labor shortage—particularly in nursing. All the more reason to communicate with clarity, authenticity, and the right tone when it comes to attracting new talent. 

I’m responsible for creating audience-focused, mobile-optimized SEO blog content for the hospital’s careers page, as well as writing the monthly careers newsletter – all with the goal of attracting top talent to SKBS in a highly competitive job market. 


Mailing B2B

Unilever Food Solutions

A quarterly promo for PHASE Professional, a liquid, aromatized vegetable fat with natural butter flavoring for industrial kitchens.

Task
To develop creative and yet effective mailings for different target groups. The goal: test it now–or order it right away.
 
Concept
We developed an elaborately designed sample package including a cover letter and a PHASE sample plus flyer. The packages were sent out, inviting customers to try out the product and order it.
 
Incentive
What we knew every chef loves–a chef's jacket with an individual monogram. For the visualization, we integrated a single button, which was intended to wet the appetite for more–and it served its purpose:

Result
The jacket was just as popular as the product, and the mailing a complete success.

PANDORA

The Danish company does not really need an introduction, but it gets one anyway: Since 1982, PANDORA has been designing, manufacturing and marketing modern jewelry from high-quality materials at affordable prices–in more than 100 countries on six continents. 

For PANDORA Germany I wrote all Facebook and Instagram posts for three years until 2020. Most posts achieved an above-average engagement and click-through-rate.
